Who's doing what

Hey Girls,

Can you please place what you are doing here. I want everyone to know what is going on with everyone else.

Some of you have already talked to me about what it is you want to do and got okays on it!

I guess since I am the team leader I will try to fill in with different things were I think we might need it! I also have 3 different plan camos done to use and I am working on dog tags.

In addition to the pictures Cole placed in the October thread at home site, www.fordcares.com has a fun design they use that I really like. Everything there is Pink Warriors, it sort of along the lines of what Cole and I were thinking!

This is our place to talk about the kit with out the other team finding out!

I'm doing floral camouflage papers. I did some wordart ribbons (preview in other thread), a ricrac, 2 buttons, 2 glitter filled brads, 2 hang tags and a metal frame. There's still a lot of time so I'll see what else I can come up with before the deadline.

I am doing an alpha , some word art, maybe some medalsm patches maybe! Not sure what else yet!

All I have thought up so far is Butterfly camo... Oh, and I wanna try and draw a ribbon warrior, like the ribbon upside down as the body and maybe some strong arms coming off as a symbol of triumph...

But, I'm still thinking...

Since October is the Breast Cancer 3-day, I was thinking of doing a kit that could be used to scrap that… little things like a sneaker charm, a pink ribbon with foot prints, word art like either “One step at a time” or “Every Step Counts” How does something like that sound?? I have a couple of ideas floating in my head, but wanted to get an ok before I went too far on it.

Sara that ribbon sounds intresting! and Lori that sounds okay, just dont do too much 3day stuf because the theme is "military style, warriors, fighters, survivors, strong women!" maybe instead of footprint you could do the shoes or a a sexy combat boot, i like the one step at a time.

I'm also working on some shoulder patches, like you would see on a uniform with the top one being a ribbon, available with cancer free around it... and then the add on ribbons will be marked with milestone years, 1, 5, 10, 20, and the bottom one will say years... So, the patches would go together down the arm of the shirt that said Cancer Free 5 years... It's looking kewl, Chris is going to illustrator it up for me into some good solid shapes and then I'll felt it, stitch it, and make you a preview... Not likely to be done today though...

I had some ideas for this kit, but most of them have already been done =) I am toying with a beaded rope...tough but pretty KWIM? Also maybe some grungy papers with a barbed wire pattern...but pink. I'm working on this some more tonight so I will post in the previews what I get done.

Melissa what were thinking of doing?? Think of something military and turn it pink or toward breast cancer. I have a brush that is an army tank that i am turning pink, making a paper out of it and an element! What about pink combat boots?

Who is good at word art and wants to do one? I found a super cute quote but I suck at word art, i can do basic but fancy and fun, no way! here is the quote: "some battles are best fought with an army of friends" Yes, that is from the Army Wives Warriors in Pink Ad! That could be another word art "Warriors in Pink"

I hoped I helped a little with Ideas! Let me know if you want to do that word art! I think it would be so cool to have!

Heres where I'm at...I tend to lean a little grungier than whats here already. Do I need to pretty it up more to be cohesive with the group?

Okay Sarah you can do the long word art, Melissa you do the warriors in pink Word ARt and your stuff if I like the look of grunge mixed with pretty in this kit! We are trying to put rough, tough, and dirty together with Pink ad girly!
